ECHOJam Vol 3: FIELD RECORDING & PRODUCTION

The Participants will walk around at the Area of LOT for 45 minutes, and record everything they want. Back at LOT, the Devices will be collected, and handed out again to a different person than before. so nobody should have the sounds they recorded.

Now, there is 1 hour to produce anything with it. A beat, soundscapes, or if you are fast enough, even a finished song. The Idea is to work with only the recorded sounds. Of course you can add Effects and do whatever you want with it, but try not to use any Software Presets/Synthesizers/Sounds.

After this whole process, the participants can present their ‘finished’ Product to the others.

Of course, all the sounds will be collected afterwards and handed out to everybody.

Schedule:

17.00 - meet up at LOT
17.15 - start walking and recording
18.00 - back at LOT
18.15 - Start producing
19.15 - Stop producing
19.30 - Presentations

Requirements:

- free entry
- 15 Participants maximum
- You need experience with music production and your own Laptop/DAW
- If you have a field recorder, please bring it with you
